The past year has been transformative for Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce, marked by extraordinary growth, strategic expansion, and meaningful impact. Our journey has been defined by connection, advocacy and unwavering commitment to Northern Ireland's business community.
Expanding Our Community
In 2024, we welcomed 227 new members to our network, accompanied by three new Patrons: Henry Brothers, Legacy Wealth Management and Galgorm Collection. This remarkable expansion has positioned us as one of the fastest-growing Chambers within the British Chamber Network, a testament to the growing confidence businesses place in our capabilities.
Bringing Businesses Together
Our events have been the heartbeat of business networking and knowledge-sharing across Northern Ireland. Throughout the year, we orchestrated 68 events, from Belfast and Ballynahinch to Templepatrick, Enniskillen, and beyond, creating leading platforms for dialogue, learning and opportunity.
These gatherings were not just business meetings, but catalysts for collaboration and long-term relationship-building.
Over 8,700 delegates participated, representing 601 businesses, in every sector of our economy, that came together to share insights, create connections and drive economic progress.
Amplifying Business Voices
Communication has been at the core of our approach. We've been relentless in showcasing the dynamism of Northern Ireland's business sector. Our digital and print platforms have been instrumental in this mission. We published 1,667 member news stories online, providing a comprehensive view of the local business ecosystem and giving NI Chamber members a solid platform to promote their brand, events and business activities.
Our award-winning Ambition Magazine continues to be a flagship publication. In 2024, it featured 319 business stories across its 96 glossy pages. Published six times a year in partnership with the Ulster Tatler Group, the magazine has been recognised for its excellence, having won finalist in the 2024 CIPR NI Media Awards.
Complementing our print offerings, and with a fresh new look, is Ambition Weekly, our digital newsletter shared every Friday. Ambition Weekly is an ideal way for members to promote their brand activities and is sent to both members and non-members for a weekly boost of business news.
Shared with over 10,000 recipients, we have published 48 editions over the past year, delivering 1,121 of the latest stories, podcasts, blogs, new appointments, event information and more, keeping our business community informed and connected.

Advocating for Progress
Our role extends beyond networking - this year, we concentrated our lobbying efforts on critical areas of economic development. We pushed for a new fiscal framework for Northern Ireland, advocated for a strategic review of the Planning Appeals Commission and worked to develop mechanisms for managing regulatory divergence.
This highlights our mission to not only do the best for our members but also to drive the growth and prosperity of Northern Ireland’s economy.
Driving Export Success
NI Chamber is a designated authority for the issue of certified export documents including UK Certificates of Origin, EUR1 Movement Certificates and Carnets.
We assisted 196 Northern Ireland exporters in expanding their global footprint; processed 6,700 critical documents, and helped businesses reach a remarkable 132 countries, demonstrating the international potential of Northern Irish enterprises.
Recognition and Partnerships
Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. We were honoured to receive the UK Chamber of the Year Award, a recognition of our innovative approach and impact. Moreover, we expanded our strategic reach by establishing a new partnership in the United States with the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce and forging a new all-island partnership with Cork Chamber of Commerce and Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
Looking Forward
These statistics represent real achievements, tangible connections, and a commitment to driving Northern Ireland's economic potential.
To every member, partner and stakeholder who has been part of this journey, we want to say thank you, and we are excited for what 2025 holds.
